Belt Tying 101:

Start with the student facing you and on your right side (their left).

b1.jpg (142335 bytes)Fold the belt in half and in half again.  

b2.jpg (143771 bytes)Place the belt in the small of their back and begin to wrap it around their waist. (Belt does not hit the floor) 

b3.jpg (146747 bytes)Continue wrapping until there is about 10" left. 

b4.jpg (149262 bytes) Pinch the three layers of the belt with the right.    

b5.jpg (146358 bytes)Tuck the loose end under the three layers (don't twist the belt) 

b6.jpg (148818 bytes)Loop the through like a half winzor (sp) on a neck tie.

b9.jpg (149396 bytes)Straighten belt with knot in the middle of the belly.
